Richard D. Black joined Riney Ronquillo Soule in 2022 as Of Counsel to the firm. His practice primarily focuses on oil and gas, including acquisitions, divestitures, operational matters and agreements.

Mr. Black's extensive experience includes serving as Senior Vice President and General Counsel for Houston-based Fieldwood Energy LLC and Apache Corp., where he spent 18 years as Assistant General Counsel.

Prior to joining Apache, Mr. Black practiced law with Sneed, Lang, Adams and Barnett in Tulsa, OK and Short, Barnes, Wiggins, Margo & Adler in Oklahoma City.
